Rules & Regulations

  1. Space is limited. Event registration will close when room capacity has been reached.
  2. Age Levels
    1. Jr ages 7 - 10
    2. Teen ages 11 - 13
    3. Senior ages 14 - up (including Teachers)
  3. For every 10 students that register from the same studio that studio receives a FREE teacher or student registration.
  4. Entry and Workshop fees are in US funds only and are non-refundable unless due to cancellation of event.
  5. No faxed registrations will be accepted.
  6. When registering online, remember to print your receipt. All studio owners/group leaders please bring your confirmation receipt to the registration desk on the first morning of the convention.
  7. No More than ONE check for each registration. No more than ONE check for each group registration.
  8. All checks returned are subject to a $25 NSF fee plus the incurred late fees.
  9. A convenience fee will be charged for online credit card payments.
  10. Wristbands must be worn at all times. No replacements will be given.
  11. We do not advise young children to be in the classrooms. Vision Dance is not responsible for providing chaperons for students.
  12. Students are allowed into their classroom only. Teachers have access to and may dance in both junior and senior classrooms. There will be no teacher classroom.
  13. Schedule and faculty are subject to change.

Disclaimer

Any dancer participating in a Vision Dance Event takes certain incumbent risks. These include but are not limited to sprains, pulled muscles, and broken bones. Participation in this event indicates the acceptance of these risks by attendees and their parents or guardians.

Vision Dance, the convention site, and the instructors are not liable for personal injuries, or loss of or damage to personal property. Each student may refuse to participate in any activity. Please inform instructors of any physical limitations you may have. If you have any doubts as to your physical abilities, please consult with your physician before participating. Choreographers, teachers, and students automatically grant permission for Vision Dance to use their image for any future photo or video publicity purposes (print ads, brochures, website marketing, commercials, and the like).

Conduct

Vision Dance, LLC Management reserves the right to refuse admittance to, or to remove anyone who is disruptive, unruly or displays unacceptable behavior as determined by any Vision Dance staff or event staff. If you are not dancing, please respect the dancers' space by staying in the defined lobby area. All dancers should follow standard safety practices while attending the convention. Stay in pairs or groups when walking to and from your rooms, the restrooms, or on breaks.

Registrations

You must pre-register. Registration on the first morning of convention will not be available. Registrations are non-cancelable and non-refundable. A refund will be given upon cancellation of event. Registrations will be limited and cut-off may occur if quota is reached before the event date.

Vision Dance, LLC reserves the right to decline any registrations as deemed necessary.

Video Recording Devices Prohibited

All video recording devices (cellphones, pda, digital cameras, video cameras, etc.) and flash photography are prohibited in the classrooms during classes.

Wristbands

Wristbands are not to be removed for the duration of the convention. No entry is allowed without a wristband and no student wristbands will be sold at the convention. Wristbands may not be shared or given to another dancer.
